Laura McKnight
Art Practices
Laura McKnight was born and raised in Colorado. She has been interested in art from a young age and took various art classes throughout her schooling. She received a BFA in Art Practices, with an emphasis in drawing and painting, from the University of Colorado Denver in 2024. She enjoys experimenting with various mediums but tends to gravitate toward graphite and acrylic paint. Her current work often involves household objects and snapshots from her day-to-day life. She is always inspired by her immediate surroundings and the natural world.
Exhibitions in Denver include site-specific installations at Four Mile Historic Park, Emmanuel Art Gallery, and RedLine Contemporary Art Center. She looks forward to a career in the arts where she can share her work on the secure quiet spaces humans build for our daily survival.
