Lillie Wesley is a Colorado-based illustrator who focuses on creating family-friendly and whimsical work for the picture book market. She draws from personal experiences such as her childhood in Tennessee, living in England, traveling in Europe, and moving to Colorado in 2017. She loves all things cute, soft, and magical.
Lillie's thesis is a children's book called "Sad Bear," about a small bear who is always crying. Throughout the book, he learns that crying is not something to be ashamed of; it's just another form of emotional expression. She hopes to create meaningful work that can positively impact young readers' imaginations. Eventually, she wants to become an art therapist working with children, women, and young people.
